Is it hate to disagree with and protest the direction and moral decline of our country.  No;  but the left will claim we are hate filled because we agree with the Word of God.

It is foolish to think this country can continue to be blessed by God when we accept sin as normal. 

As a Christian,  I call for all who love God, to stand fast, act like a man and stand against a government that doesn’t act in the best interest of her people.

Pray for Godly leaders, who are not afraid to stand for the truth.  Who will fight for that we hold dear. 

” Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,”

We have fools in places of power. ….God save us.

Know you are loved.

To the unbelieving, The Church is the building the hypocrites go to every week to show the rest of us how holy they are.

To some believers, The Church is where they go to hear the Preacher tell them what God wants them to know this week.  Or the place you bring people who need salvation, healing or prayer.  Or even the place where you praise or worship God.

The Church can and should be all these things but  are you?

The Church isn’t the buildings believers meet in.  The Church is the believer.  We are the ones, the seekers should come to, to be led to the Lord. To be healed by, comforted by, discover the Love and Grace of the Lord.

They don’t recognize theLord in our lives, so why would they expect to find Him.

Some think of The Church as a hospital for the sick…

Gratitude day 2 – I’m grateful today for time.

When our daughter was a little girl, I asked her what she would like to be when she grew up. She thought for a while and said, very sure of herself, “Retired.”

We all laughed at that, but it’s not surprising that she said that. She had been spending lots of time with my parents, her grandparents, and they were all having such a good time together. They cooked, coloured-in, sewed, fed the cattle, walked around the farm, and read books together. Going to work was not necessary, and Grandma and Granddad were happy, their time their own. They weren’t rich, but they had enough, and knew how to live well with a small income from their pension. They even saved money at the same time.

I think what she understood, even at that young age, was was time is precious…

My mind engaged in Buddism, clearing all the chaos. I released myself of riches and the hamster wheel of comfort. When suffering plagued my days, I sought to release their power. There was no purpose in their pains. But they stalked me, humoring in their disturbance, and I wasted away my life seeking relief from my fleeting days. My days of calm were no peaceful offering for the meaning of my passing life.

I seek Allah, days full of ritual prayer. His commands tell me to be good, to follow his decrees. But when the hammer of judgement falls, I find that I fail so miserably. I can not live up to his scale. Fear is all I know.

I live for this world, pursuing pleasures. One after another, I drink in their delight. When this one fades, so very quickly, I seek the next craving, surely it will fill…
