It was time for the Passover meal. Jesus had this Word of Knowledge for Peter.
“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:”
We need to consider it as a word of warning for us today. Satan has a desire, to make us doubt, question, wonder, and walk away from the love of God. Satan sifts us, and the Lord allows it.
Why?
So we consider, understand and know how strong our love is for the Lord and His for us. He already knows the outcome.
He allows us to be tested so we understand the depth, width, length and breadth of our love and trust for Him.
He wants us to know and agree with the three Hebrew children, that the true God is able to deliver us from our fiery furnace.
“If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.” (Daniel 3)
God is able to deliver, God will deliver, If God doesn’t deliver, we will still serve Him. What a testimony.
Jesus did not stop at the warning though, He also added:
“But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.”
Know this; in the midst of the fire, Jesus never leaves us or forsakes us, He walks with us, even carries us in that furnace.
As we look to Him, the Author an finisher of our faith we become stronger, able to strengthen others, in their times of need.
When tested, it seems there is no end, it is hopeless, we are lost, alone in a hell that is forever.
Look to the hills from whence comes our help. Lord, open our eyes to see Your mighty army that surrounds and fights for us.
There is light and life at the end of the tunnel. Keep your eyes on Jesus, trust in Him to see you through. He is FAITHFUL.

DEATH BY CRUCIFIXION AND CHRIST
02.20.15

I came across the following anatomical and physiological details of death by Dr. C. Truman Davis that breaks down death by crucifixion and in particular how it applied to Christ and what He endured. His analysis was published in Arizona Medicine in 1965.
Crucifixion was invented by the Persians in 300 BC, and perfected by the Romans in 100 BC.
It is the most painful death ever invented by man and is where we get our term “excruciating.” {Latin, excruciatus, or “out of the cross”}
It was reserved primarily for the most vicious of male criminals. Jesus refused the anaesthetic wine which was offered to Him by the Roman soldiers because of His promise in Matthew 26: 29, “But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

MY LUST SHALL BE SATISFIED:
The problem, since Adam, of the whole earth, lies herein. LUST.
This is the first mention of LUST in the Bible.
Exodus 15:9
“The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.”
(So said the Egyptians, as they followed the Hebrews, into the Red Sea).
Most of us think of LUST as being a SEX only, problem. It is not. It is an “I“ problem.
I will, I will, I will, MY, I will, MY.
“I”, has been the problem from the Garden on:
1 John 2:16
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”
Such a simple thing: Do not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
“I think, it looks tasty, I think, it will make us wise, I think, it will make us like God.”
I MUST, SATISFY MY LUST FOR MORE:
For us to conquer the LUST problem, we must conquer the “I” problem.
WE MUST:
< Realize, (know), our un-Godly desires.
< Believe, the Lord will help us.
< Understand, the victory over "I" is ours.
The Lord promises in Isaiah:
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
The Lords counters our “I” problem, with the Truth and Power, of the GREAT I AM, not the LUST of man.
I am, I am, I will, I will,I will:
with you, thy God, stregthen you, help you, uphold you.
Lord, help me to Submit to You and flee the LUST OF MY EYES, LUST OF MY FLESH AND THE PRIDE OF LIFE.
These are the temptations of the natural man, my desire is to be the Spiritual Man You have called me to be.
Lord, hear my plea!!! LORD HELP!!!

“choose you this day whom ye will serve;”
The choice that affects our eternal residence. The most important choice, we will ever make. To serve God or self. (Joshua 24:15)
It’s our other choices, the little things, that cause us daily grief or give us peace and joy.
I wonder how the choices we made today will affect our tomorrow.
Choices I made just after finding Christ, (35+ years ago), are the root of my concerns today.
Pauls confession from Romans 9:1-2, could be my own today.
“I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.”
He was concerned over Isreal, who had not understood that Christ had redeemed them from the law of sin and death.
My concern is more personal. “The sin that so easily besets me.”
A tiny thing, secretly holding on to something that displeaed my Lord and Savior.
Such a small thing, who thought it would be: “a root of bitterness springing up to trouble, and thereby defile; – and it also laid upon me hard bondage:”
This little thing, all grown up, and choking the life, joy, peace and hope out of me.
Saints, don’t let the little foxes, “the little foxes, that spoil the vines:” grow up to steal your victory.
When the Lord delivers you, DO NOT HOLD ON TO ANYTHING… Give it up to God, let Him have it. You really do not need it, it will hurt you in the end.
“choose you this day”
Choose to give your all to the Lord, choose to follow Him. Let Him have it all now, life will be better in the future.
2 Corinthians 1:10
King James Version (KJV)
“Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;”
He will continue to love and deliver us, as long as we are willing. He can deliver us totally at the first, if we allow Him. Over time, if He must.
He promises to keep us blameless.
1 Corinthians 1:8
“Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless
in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

We may have to experience a dark place, but the Tree of Life is there for those of us who believe.
John 3:16-17
King James Version (KJV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
Thank You, Jesus

Like Paul, I have a sin that so easily besets me. Unlike Paul, I often, enjoy it.
Like Paul, I have often cried out, even proclaimed the Lords deliverance:
~ “deliver us from this present evil world”
~ “be delivered from the bondage of corruption”
~ “the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work”
Romans 8:2
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”
Like Paul, I know who delivers me, I do know who will set me free, and that I must be set free from the law of sin and death.
Like Paul, I cling to the words of the Lord: for I am weak.
2 Corinthians 12:9
“My Grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Timothy 4:18
King James Version (KJV)
“And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
Shall deliver, … will preserve….. WONDERFUL…. How about my battle today?
2 Corinthians 1:10
King James Version (KJV)
“Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;”
Unfortunately, deliverance is apparently an ongoing process, like sanctification, We are delivered, We are daily being delvered, We will be completely delivered at some point.
This saddens me. I long for complete deliverence, complete submission, and total reliance on the Holy Spirit.
The Lord has a lot to do in my life.
Change me O, Lord….

As a young man, I was sure I would become a rich, famous and much loved, musician.
In reality, I have supplemented my income, for 50 years by playing piano. The painful truth is, no one comes specifically to hear me play.
If you happen to hear me play, you might recognize the tune and hum along, but I wouldn’t dazzle you with frills or cause chills to run up your spine.
I never worked beyond the basic skills I acquired as a child. As a result, I make a pleasent, un-remarkable noise.
There are good resons we tend to go with our MAN PLAN, rather then Gods. Evan after we are Saved, we are more old man, then new.
Salvation is just the start of our Sanctification, (separation unto Gods service).
We need to deliberatly draw closer to God, to allow the Holy Spirit to change us from our innermost man.
We tend to shy away from change.
What is the MAN PLAN, and why is it so distructive?
First off, the MAN PLAN can be summed up in one sentence.
“It’s ok God, I’ve got it from here.”
(Yes, I know a good plan when I see it. Hey somebody let me down).
When ever we take over for God, death and destruction follow. So how do we take over?…and “death and destruction, really?”
The all loving, all powerful, all knowing, Eternal, Creator and Supreme Ruler, had spoken Paradise into existence.
It was perfect, the lion lived in peace with the lamb, weeds grew beside, not in the flower beds, the wolves frolicked with the other animals.
Life was a day in the park, pleasent, a joy filled existence that should last forever.
God walked with man and woman in the cool of the day. All they ever needed or desired was theirs, at their finger tips, within reach.
Love was in the air, harmony prevailed, the weather was perfect, there was no rain on this parade.
Things were wonderful, exceptional, a dream come true. Until …
Man had a better idea. (We can be like God).
This frustrated the plan of God.
The MAN PLAN, was instituted: Death was introduced to Paridise. Weeds invaded the crops, man had to work for what he desired.
Worst of all; man was separated from God, no daily walk. Envy, Pride and Strife replaced peace, joy and love.
What a mess.
Then, God sent His Son:
Where are we today? Reunited with God, in eternal fellowship, love joy and peace, can and should rule in our lives.
God walks with man and woman in the cool of the day. All we ever need or desire is ours, at our finger tips, within reach. All we need do, is ask.
Things are wonderful, exceptional, a dream come true.
Gods plan for us today, Build His Church.
His Spirit has come, bearing Gifts. Gifts given specifically to Build His Church.
Perfect: … Until….
Man had a better idea, (gifts, we don’t need no stinkin gifts), our way is better.
The MAN PLAN, again.
Death was introduced to Paridise. Weeds invaded the crops, man had to work for what he desired.
Worst of all; man was separated from God, no daily walk. Envy, Pride and Strife replaced peace, joy and love.
What a mess.
Saints. We must learn from history. Please ask the Lords forgiveness. Ask the Spirit to empower to Build His Church.
If we walk in His power and grace…..we will experience victory.

Saints I believe this to be the most important post I have written. I believe it is Revelation Knowledge from the Lord.
Please prayerfully read, consider and comment, I desire to hear your thoughts.
Are you saved, sanctified, Holy Ghost filled and water baptized, is Jesus on your mind?
If so, you have found a new life!!!
Sadly there are many who have not.
A new life, is a gift from God, a gift that we must except and experience. (By allowing Jesus to live and reign in our hearts). We must learn to walk with Him, as we allow Him, to increase in our lives.
All of us, whether in church, life, or at work, tend to flow with the crowd. Trusting, contented, comfortably compliant.
Sailing along, not making waves, oblivious to any dangers that may lie in our path.
In our simplicity, we know not who we follow or where they are leading us.
In my post A Simple Truth #1, I explained why learning to truly Praise the Lord, is how we come to know Him better.
Psalm 76
King James Version (KJV)
“In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel. In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion. There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.”
A Simple Truth #1:
“In Judah is God known:” Judah simply means Praise.
By Praising God, we Magnify, Glorify, Exult His Majesty. We make Him first in our lives and lead others to recognize His presence. So let us look at:
A Simple Truth #2:
~”In Salem also is his tabernacle,”
Salem, simply means peace.
hitchcocks-bible-names-dictionary
“Salem. complete or perfect peace”
Peace is where He Resides.
Isaiah 26:3
King James Version (KJV)
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
We are His Tabernacle, His home, as we learn of Him, to trust in Him, to rely on and expect Him to bless us.
As we walk in His truth. PRAISE AND PEACE.
“There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle.”
That is where we find protection from our enimies and the tools we must use to defeat them.
Find His peace, by singing, praying, meditation, repeating His Word. It is through knowing and believing His Word we have the victory.
Saints, I cannot emphasize enough, how important it is to know Gods Word.
His promises, providence and His principles for a Godly life.
2 Simple Truths, that will allow whosoever to stand fast and quit ye like men.
When we refuse these Simple Truths our religion becomes more important than our relationship.
Our rituals more important than His presence.
Our Worship Service a form of Godliness, that denies the Power of God.
Please acknowledge, accept and practice these Simple Truths. Allow the Lord access to your heart.
In Praise is God known. He resides in Peace.
He keeps us in perfect peace, when our mind is on Him, when we trust in Him.
Psalm 76
King James Version (KJV)
“In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel. In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion. There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.”

A simple truth. A truth so real to me, that it pains me when unbelievers, do not accept it.
~Jesus loves us.
~Jesus is the only way to the Father.
~Jesus gives true peace and joy.
Simple truths, not believed, laughed at, ridiculed, rejected.
Then there are the believers who refuse to believe these simple truths.
~The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is real and a special Gift, imparted to whosoever will believe.
~The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to us today to build His Church. From the 5 fold ministry to the Gifts in 1st Corinthians 12-14.
~There is no expiration date on the gifts and calling of God, they are forever, for whosoever will, receive, (accept), them.
Simple truths, not believed, laughed at, ridiculed,
It truly pains me when these simple truths are rejected by mankind, but there are other simple truths we need to recognize also.
The simple truths we find Psalm 76 for example.
Psalm 76:1-3
King James Version (KJV)
“In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel. In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion. There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.”
Simple truth #1:
~In Judah is God known:
The word Judah simply means praise. It was first revealed in the story of Jacob and Leah, the unloved wife.
She was the first to bear children for Jacob. They were named for the Lords reaction to her prayers. (Please check out the entire story).
Genesis 29:31-35 (selected parts)
King James Version (KJV)
“And when the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.”
“And Leah conceived, a son, and she called him Reuben: for, Surely the Lord hath looked upon my affliction;” Reuben, means, looked or saw.
“And she bare a son; and said, Because the Lord heard I was hated, she called his name Simeon.” Simeon, means heard or listened.
“And she bare a son; Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, his name is called Levi.” Levi, means joined. (Our job as Gods Levites today is to join men to Him).
“And she bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the Lord: she called his name Judah;”
Judah simply means PRAISE.
Simple truth #1
~In Praise is God known.
A Simple truth, not believed, laughed at, ridiculed, rejected by the quiet, reverent churchs.
They complain about the 7\11 choruses, not understanding, the Power of repetition for memorizing and meditation of the Word. It seems to be ok to memorize the multiplication tables, but not the Word of God.
Singing and repeating Gods truths, builds us up in Him, makes us strong, gives us the Word in our hearts in our time of need.
To know God is to sing, tell, yell and play His PRAISE. SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH.
Let the world know of His love of us and our love of Him. We gain knowledge and power in PRAISE.
Psalm 22:3
King James Version (KJV)
“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”
We are Gods chosen people today.
He inhabits our Praise.
If we would learn to Praise as a church, we could see, people comming to Salvation, our families finding peace and joy, maybe even those in need healed.
Praise shows Gods Name great. We Magnify, Glorify, Exult, Worship, lift high….as we humble ourselves and recognize His Majesty.
A Simple Truth #1:
~Please learn to let go and let God lead you into true praise.
As you sing and repeat Gods word, you can lose yourself in the joy and majesty, love and peace of God.

Lord, thank You for the work You’ve sent us this month.
Lord, please send us some work.
Lord, thank You for providing all my needs, according to Your riches in glory, in Christ Jesus.
Lord, please meet out needs, today.
Lord, I thank You for giving us strength and health, the ability to do what is needed.
Lord, help me, now, today, I am weak, hurt, confused….
Lord, help please.
Lord, give us this day, our daily bread.
The Lord knows what we have need of, before we ask Him. So why must we ask? Why must we thank Him?
The birds and flowers just keep on without thought. The truth is most of us just keep on without thinking also.
When we give thanks, when we pray, we are acknowledging His place and position as Lord, Master, Provider, the Lover of our souls.
I am embarassed to always need work, to ask for prayer for work. (What do people think?).
I also realize, I do not always remember to thank Him for the work He has sent.
Our lack may be Gods way of reminding us where our provision comes from.
Give us this day…..
If we would take His Yoke and walk with Him daily, I believe our needs would be met.
We end up pleading, asking, praying for that which is ours already through and in Christ.
As we learn to stay beside Him, trust and rely on Him, learn of Him, lean on Him, love Him.
He supplies all our needs, wants and the desires of our hearts, because He has given us His Godly desires.
Amen
