Psalm 57:9-11

“I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the peoples: I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy lovingkindness is great unto the heavens, And thy truth unto the skies. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; [Let] thy glory [be] above all the earth.”

I have not sung this Psalm for a long while. It is once again in my head and heart.

Praise ye the Lord:  Day 148/2017:  theunfetteredpreacher

The message today, is PRAISE YE THE LORD.  It does not matter who or what you are, mountain,  river,  star or beast, angel or man, king or slave.

The Lord demands PRAISE.  For a long time, I believed effective Praise, came mainly by song.  I was wrong. 

We can and do Praise, when our song lifts up the Lord, exalts the Lord, thanks the Lord.  The problem is many of our songs, concentrate on us.

I have come to believe effective corporate and private Praise, is just lifting our voices, not in unison,  but each individual as they are lead.

Example:

Me:  I love you Lord, I exalt You, I Praise Your Holy Name, Holy, Holy, Holy are You Lord, ect

At the same time, you:  I exalt You Lord, I magnify, You Oh Awesome God, I love You, ect.

When a group of people lift up their Praise…  God is Exalted on High.  We get His attention.   He hears and enjoys our Praise.

I encourage you to try it….  we experience His Presence.

In our Wednesday night Bible study we are in 2 Kings.   Biblical history, 2 Kingdoms Israel and Judah.

Good Kings bad Kings, have the same Names, you have to double check to know who is who and what is what.  

All Very Confusing. 

Yet, it is not nearly as confused as our current Government.   Terrorism is workplace violence,  they can yell out Allah Ackbar, but we do not know why they did it.   REALLY!!!

Bombs in NYC, stabbings in St. Cloud,  we are investigating?   Now today, it is revealed 800+ immigrants have been Naturalized in error.

Claims unemployment is at 5%,  (really, how about the 93 million working age people who cannot find work? )

Boys are Girls, Girls are Boys, the original equipment is ignored.   Our youngest are encouraged to believe they choose their own sex.  

If they are allowed to be born.

The theory of Evolution is now fact, how did that happen?   Climate change is man made?  What kind of fools are we?

Saints, we had better stand fast, against this Push against what was once common sense and common knowledge. 

We have allowed the left to change up to down, evil as good, error as truth.

Lord,  save us from ourselves… Amen

To the Churches shame, there is a whole world out there who will say on that day;  “I didn’t know.”

I didn’t know:  

》God so loved the world.

I didn’t know:

》 Jesus died for me.

I didn’t know: 

》 What true love is.

That ignorance is the Churches fault.  

What is worse is that the Church itself doesn’t  comprehend  what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;   They don’t  know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,…  that they might be filled with all the fulness of God.

The “Fulness ofGod”.    

John 1:16
“From His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.” Our Salvation 

Ephesians 1:23
“which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”  With His Love

Colossians 2:10
“And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.”   We are complete,  finished, blameless…  In Him.

And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.

When we recognize His hand in our life.  When we realize He wants a close walk, a relationship like none other.

That the Church doesn’t comprehend His love, His desire for a relationship,  His longing for fellowship, is the fault of its  leaders.

They aren’t walking it, don’t really believe the truth of the Word, the power of the spoken word, His desire to comfort, heal and provide for us.

We are stuck in the Natural, and cannot see the Spiritual,  which is where we should be living.

On that day, I pray that no one who has had contact with me can say;  “I didn’t know You would love me so, that You longed for my company. 

That I could live in You, with You, beside You.”

I pray, they would say;  “I love You Lord.”

2 Peter 1:4 Study The Fix-it Shop -Filling Station

As we study the next verse we find a wonderful promises, we need to grab with both hands.

2 Peter: 1. 4.
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

We really can not comprehend the blessings the Lord has for those who learn to walk in His Yoke, by His side, doing His will at His direction and in His Power.

Exodus: 1. 7.
“And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.”

Ephesians: 3. 20.
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”

All through the Word we find the Lord blessing His chosen.   We are His chosen today, we shouldn’t be in want, or fear, but full of “Power and of Love and a Sound Mind.”   He loves us, won’t “give a stone when we ask for bread.”

“ye might be partakers of the divine nature,

The Word tells us we are partakers of the divine (Godly) nature.  The Word tells us we are partakers of many things.

“partakers of my grace., partakers of his promise ,partakers of the inheritance, partakers of the sufferings, partakers of the benefit, partakers of the heavenly calling, partakers of the Holy Ghost,partakers of his holiness.partakers of Christ’s sufferings, partakers of the divine nature, be not partakers of her sins, partakers of that one bread.partakers of his promise,partakers of the Lord’s table, partakers of their spiritual things,”

“divine nature,”
We become sons, and Hebrews 6:4-5, can be quite exciting when we grasp its meaning.

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,”

We have been enlightened,  (we know and recognize the Lord).  So we have tasted Salvation,  the heavenly gift.  We have the Holy Spirit, we need to allow Him freedom to work.

We taste the good Word of God, and we should have a taste of the Powers of the world to come. (The Gifts of the Spirit working through us).

John 1;12
“12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

Romans 8;8-11
“So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

Romans 8:29
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

The Precious Promises are a way to conquer sin and death in our lives.  We can if we just learn to trust and walk in Him.  Be conformed to His image.

“having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

Lust, Greed, Covetousness, Pride, feet that shed inocent blood, lying tounges,  sowing discontent.  I  haven’t checked but I  think these are in Proverbs 6, the 7 deadly sins.

Lord, help us to claim and live in Your Precious Promises.

Healing in Luke – The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station

It is interesting how  Luke the Physician mentioned healing more than in any other Gospel.

I believe The Lord is still healing when He finds worthy vessels.  (People who will give Him the Glory, Honor and credit ).

What is Expired Faith?

Expired Faith is a Faith that doesn’t really believe that the signs and wonders, miracles, gifts of the Spirit are possible today.

After all I believe, I pray for miracles,  I believe in healing, forgiveness, victory in Jesus.   I don’t experience these things in my life, so God must not be operating that way since the Apostles died away.

It’s not me, or my Denominational teachings that are holding God back.  It is just a time of silence like between the Old and New Testament.
