I started the day planning to bring Bette to a Bible Study and sneak to McDonald’s for a breakfast burrito. (The perfect food, no sauce or anything needed).

Then I planned to go to church to write a post, and do a FB Live on the first 6 verses of Hebrews 6. (This we not to be.)

My problem started when I mentioned a sore spot on my leg. Bette decided that I should see the Dr. while there, the Doc found fluid in (?) my lungs, and sent me to the hospital.

So this is where I sit, fluid slowly leaving my body the natural way with some chemical help. If all goes well, I should be out in a day or two.

The ER, Doctors, and Nursing staff are as usual, charming, polite, efficient, and effective. The rooms and halls are spick and span, lunch was wonderful, and I expect a pleasant and productive time.

Thanks to Susan, Maddie, and all of Dr. Davis’s staff, they are all first-rate. Thank you for the excellent care over the years.

Well, tomorrow is a new day. I will get a burrito eventually. I might even get to write a post.

John 14:11-14 The Passion Translation

‘Believe that I live as one with my Father and that my Father lives as one with me—or at least, believe because of the mighty miracles I have done.“I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father! I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to him. Ask me anything in my name, and I will do it for you!”‘

Do you wonder? Why do we believe ‘You must be Born Again!’, but ignore the promises made in this scripture? Do you not Wonder where the Miracles, Signs, and Wonders are? I do!

We must grab ahold of the truth in the Word, and believe it until it becomes FAITH! We speak it, live it, love it, share it act on it until IT IS. IT IS GOOD!

In Isaiah we find He did signs and Wonders so people would See, Know, Consider, Understand (and Believe), that He Is God. (Isaiah 41:20)

Today we have sound and fury but no Substance. Why? Our Faith is lacking. We want to believe but ask the Lord to help instead of helping ourselves. His Word tells us how to build up our Faith.

Romans 12:1-3

‘Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual, (reasonable), service. Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

‘We have the measure of Faith to believe, how do we build on it?
Jude 1:3

‘Beloved, while I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I was constrained to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.’

Jude 1:20,21
‘But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.’
Do you pray in your prayer language? Are you afraid of it? Do you understand what it is and how you receive it?

Do you want stronger Faith, to see the things that you Wonder about? ‘THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND!’ (Mark 1:15) ‘REPENT AND BELIEVE!’

There are so many sick and hurting Believers. How and Why is this possible?

It tickles me to realize how we pick and choose what to believe. “You Must Be Born Again.” (John 3:3-7; 1 Peter 1:23) We have whole denominations built on these Words. We claim that if people do not use the Words, Born Again, they are not believers.

The Truth is, we must Confess and Believe Jesus Christ is our Savior and Lord. That is what causes us to be Born Again, not declaring the Words.

Folks, Catholics recite the same Apostles creed as the rest of us. Have they added to the Word? Unfortunately yes, does it cancel out their Salvation? NO!

Believe and Confess the only requirement for Salvation. Praying to Saints or Mary? Nope, shouldn’t happen, but the Lord is bigger than we are.

I bring this up because as believers we fail to believe all the Words of the Lord. I see a weak and sickly church. A Church of unbelieving believers. Why do we cling to being born again but not to, John 14:11-14.

“Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

Will Jesus heal?

‘And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.’ Matthew 4:24

‘But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;’ Matthew 12:15

‘And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.’ Mark 6:56

‘Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.’ Luke 4:40

‘And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; Luke 6:17

‘And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.’ Luke 6:19

Here are 6 Scriptures that tell us He heals all that are in need. So why are so many sick?

Our Faith is lacking: We don’t know, speak, sing, and live the word. We need to walk with and in the Spirit. Memorize, Meditate, Communicate the Word and Will of the Lord. Until we become more like Him, our Faith and the health of ourselves and those we love will suffer.

Renew your minds, fill them with the Truth of God’s Word.

“Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.” (Isaiah 59:9)

When Judgement is delayed or rejected, darkness increases.

If we allow the miss deeds of the politically connected to stand, we lose more of ourselves. Our freedoms, our righteousness, our ability to defend our way of life.

When we watched past administrations, apologise, ask forgiveness, bow down to anyone other than God, we slid a little lower on the path to perdition.

Darkness is conquering the light, because the right will not defend themselves. We are afraid of being called heartless, cruel, homophobic, racist etc…

We are not! We must stand for and in the light. We must be sure to promote justice for all, not just the few. No one should be above the law. Democrat or Republican.

Laws are made by Congress, the Courts should follow the Constitution to uphold who and what we are.

Legal Votes should all be counted. Others, thrown out!

Whoever serves must serve with the strength God supplies so that in every way God receives glory through Yeshua Christ.

The Sad Truth:  bill theunfetteredpreacher cote

I was tuning a very nice woman’s piano today and conversing about the Word of God.   I had opined how we do not have the reverence of the Word that they did in the Old Testament.

The woman pointed out how lucky we are to have the Word available to us whenever we desire to read it.  She is both right and wrong.

In Nehemiah, someone had to read the Word to the people and there were others to help them to understand.  Today we can read it ourselves and read a commentary if we have questions.

Sounds good, right?

It isn’t.  The Word is no longer precious or rare, now it is ignored or used as a telephone book.  (Which we no longer use either).

What good is having the Word, if it is not giving life to those who have it?  How many are studying to show themselves approved?

They would sing scripture all day, we want more verses, never mind what the Word says.  We know better.  It saddens me to see how little the Word affects today’s Christians.

If we disagree, we throw it away.  Again We Know Best!  Lord help us, please.  May the Word come alive in our hearts and minds.  May it changes us, into Your Image.

On God:
He won’t send anyone to Hell, Jesus is just alright, we are ok in His sight.

On Sin:
God only cares about the big ones:
Murder, rape, fraud, bodily harm… Victimless crimes are not sin.

Truth:
God is a Holy God and demands a Holy People.   God sits on His Throne and does as He pleases. (Ps 115)

As slaves to Sin-  before Salvation, we live in Sin
As Christians:  We pass through the Wilderness of Sin.  (Exodus 16)

How long will you stay in this Wilderness?  It is our choice.
What is Sin in this Wilderness?
Murmuring and complaints.  The Start of our trouble.
Disobedience:  It’s the Simple Things, the Evil Heart of Unbelief.
We must walk in Faith, Thanksgiving, and Praise, to become victorious.

If we do not follow the simple, we will never do the great.  If He cannot trust us to follow, He may not bother to lead us, He can leave us feeding the swine.

We must give ourselves totally to Him.  Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength.   Then we will be ready to serve.

I know I am terrible person, but, just seeing the top of the nose, the eyes and eyebrows, somehow causes me to wonder about the rest of the face.

I picture them in my mind, everyone is perfect. A great mouth and chin, a wonderful smile that matches the sparkle of their eyes, and laughter that comes from deep within.

Then my mental picture is shattered.

I see their picture ID. Can this be the person I am speaking with? Apparently yes. Oh well, life is full of surprises.

I said I was terrible.

I have Tasted Freedom.  I Have been to America; BC, (before COVID)

IT WAS GRAND!

I had two doctors’ appointments late on Tuesday afternoon.  We went to town early to catch lunch at one of our favorite eateries.

We arrived, put on our masks for the dangerous walk into the restaurant and to our table, and in fear and trembling entered the door.

There were eight to ten woman in hospital scrubs, laughing, joking, and leaving to go back to work.  Not a Mask among them.

We looked;  none of the wait staff, cooks, busboys, nobody had on a mask.  Only two masks were visible.  Mine and Bettes.

We looked at each other, pulled of the masks, and with huge smiles found our table and understanding the waitress, enjoyed our food, and our day.

I will not say where this was.  the Mask Nazis would shut it down in a minute.  How have we allowed this to happen to this once great country?

Please vote!  I pray for you to vote with knowledge and wisdom.  I believe in the system.  I have a problem with all the changes this year.  It seems to be a clear call for fraud.

Vote in person!  Have an ID with you!  Be on the Lookout for those who would cheat!
