LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? theunfetteredpreacher

Psalm 15: 1-5

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.”

It is not often that I use a full Psalm, to make a point. The conversations I had with my Liberal cousins friends, just yesterday on FB, both grieves and motivated me.

They were very quick to point out the failings of Republicans and Christians. I apparently am not a Christian, because I would not agree with them. Oh I agreed that there are Republicans and Christians who are not perfect, and some are down right hateful. That was not enough.

They could not recognize how hateful and destructive the leadership and faithful on the left are. It was fine that ANTIFA and BLM, tear up property and attack conservatives.

After all we do not think or act right.

It was wonderful that the false accusations nearly destroyed Justice Kavanagh and his family, as a matter of fact one leftist said ‘At least we destroyed his family.’

The problem isn’t that there are many evil people; but that some refuse to recognize and comdemn that evil. They embrace it instead.

Which brings me to this Psalm, if because I do not tow the Liberal line I am not a Christian, I would invite those on the left to read and understand this Psalm.

I do not feel I need to comment on it. God’s Word is pure and perfect. I would thst I were a better son and witness, alas I am just me, with Christ in me, the hope of Glory. (Colossians 1:27)
