They Flock to the fields: The Fix-it Shop – Filling Station

Do you ever wonder why the birds seem attracted to certain fields and not others?

Have you noticed people seem to gather at certain churches and not others?

What does one have that the other lacks?

The amount of available food, determines the size of the gathering.  We need to be able to multiply our loaves and fishes.  We must feed the flock.

  1. I haven’t wondered about this but thank you.
Where I am, we are mostly denominational – so we go to the churches we were born into or were married into or is convenient for us to attend( all not good reasons to attend, right).
I watch Joel Osteen on youtube and wonder that there are so many people attending his services. For me, my reason is that I find his way of presenting his views in a very understandable way. And he preaches more from the Old Testament than from the New Testament- which is fascinating again for me.

    • We need to understand that we all wear Denominational glasses. Each group has a different emphasis. …the Levite families had different responsibilities as they wondered the desert, taking care of different parts of the Tabernacle. …to Praise.
We need to find where the Lord would have us,

  2. Denominations are constricting and liberating at the same time. Constricting because they remove our focus from the Lord and the Bible and liberating because we are identified as Christians through our belonging to the Church – but we need to follow the path, God leads us through to get a greater understanding of what he wants us to do.
