I say unto all, Watch.

Mark 13:
“Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you, I say unto all, Watch.”

Is the church watching?

Or asleep?  How about you and I, watching or asleep?   Will we hear:  “Well done? Or “Depart from me.”

Do you believe the Word of God or your Denominations teaching of same?  Is God your Athority or your Pastor?

Do you understand the Word or do you rely on someone to explain, expound and teach?

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

In order for the Comforter to do His job, (teach and bring things to our remembrance ).  We must first know the Lord.

We must ask Him into our lives, repent, (turn from sin, to Him) and then learn of Him as we walk with Him. (We do this best by reading His Word ourselves).

Trusting Him to explain as you meditate and pray as you read.  (Stop, look and listen)

As you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you, reread the Parable of the Talents. Notice the Master has left, given them Talents, according to their abilities.

When  He returned, some had increased :  “Well done.”  

Some had hid the Talents:  “Depart from me.”

What did the Master leave us till He returns?

The Holy Spirit.   Have we allowed Him to increase in our lives or buried Him?

Have we imbraced His gifts or rejected them?

Lord, help us to understand the use of and what the best gifts are.  Please use me, teach me, glorify Your Name in my life.
