Is your church a hospital? – The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station

Do you think of your church as a hospital, where the sick and hurting come to heal?  That’s how alot of people think.

It explains why so many continue hurting, they never seem to heal, they are continually  recovering.   Never getting better.

If you check my archives, you will see  I have written of this before.  That is why you see “The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station”.

I found some new wrinkles.
(To me anyway).  Again something plainly there but invisible untill your eyes are opened.

In my reading of Luke this week a word  jumped out:

Immediately :
   *  The issue of blood dried up
   *  The blind could see
   *  The lame could walk
   *  Their skin was clear
   *   The deaf could hear

More than 50 times we find immediately and abother 40 times straightway.

   *  They left their nets
   *  He reached out and Peter stayed afloat
   *  She was healed
   *  He got up, carrying his bed
   *  They plotted to trap Him

Today, everyone is in recovery, it explains why we don’t exhibit the power of an Awesome God.  His word, His promises. ….unfulfilled.

We hesitate, we think, consider. ..When Peter and John just grabbed his hand, he was walking and leaping and Praising God.

The only way to get beyond our carnal thoughts, worries and unbelief is to be full of the Word and the Spirit.

The end of Mark 6 it states :  all that touched Him were healed.   We need to be in touch with Him.  In His yoke, walking with, obedient to,   full of Faith and Power.

Act immediately, straightway, without worrying that they may not be healed.  Don’t pray, if it is Your will.

His will is all to be saved, He healed all that were afflicted.  We need to learn to walk in the Spirit.
