I am “Forgiven“.
The day I accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, I repented of my sin, and was covered by the blood of Jesus.
I had been “Justified“.
It is Just As If I Never Sinned. My sin is as far from me as the East is from the West.
Am I sin free?
No, I wish I was, but I need to continue to recognize, and repent of my failure to reach, the mark of His high calling.
Forgiven isn’t the end of it though.
Jesus promises to “Sanctify us wholly“.
1 Thessalonians 5:22-24
King James Version (KJV)
“Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
We need to be wholly “Sanctified“.
Set apart, unto God for His service. We determine our direction and God will do the work in our hearts.
We will be “Blameless” in Gods sight.
Again we determine our direction, always walking toward the Lord, seeking His face continually. Obedience to His will.
It is not us, but Jesus who presents us “Blameless“, to the Father.
“Reconciled“:
What a blessing, now, we are like Adam, the Lord would walk with us in the cool of the day. We are able to enter into the Holy of Holies, to find grace and mercy in our times of need.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21
King James Version (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
We are the “Righteousness” of God in Him.
Jesus is the all in all. He has done it all. Our job is to reconcile those we meet to Him.
He came not to condemn, but to save the world. Our lives should be an invitation to those we come into contact with.
A welcome center, providing information, direction, comfort.
Unfortunately, some us take the verses about foolish and peculiar to heart and scare away, rather than welcome to the Kingdom.
Allow Jesus to shine through. Be a light in the darkness, peace in the storm, joy unspeakable and full of Glory.

Leviathan:
a transliterated Hebrew word (livyathan), meaning “twisted,” “coiled.” In Job 3:8, Revised Version, and marg. of Authorized Version, it denotes the dragon which, according to Eastern tradition, is an enemy of light; in 41:1 the crocodile is meant; in Ps. 104:26 it “denotes any large animal that moves by writhing or wriggling the body, the whale, the monsters of the deep.” This word is also used figuratively for a cruel enemy, as some think “the Egyptian host, crushed by the divine power, and cast on the shores of the Red Sea” (Ps. 74:14). As used in Isa. 27:1, “leviathan the piercing [R.V. ‘swift’] serpent, even leviathan that crooked [R.V. marg. ‘winding’] serpent,” the word may probably denote the two empires, the Assyrian and the Babylonian.

I don’t know about you, but I am constantly fighting the “Leviathan.”
He is my carnal, natural man.
The side of me that thinks I am smarter, stronger, faster and more just, then the living God. (The not ready for reality side of me).
I cannot conquer that part of me.
The only way to gain the victory is:
* To totally surender to the Lord Jesus as both Savior and Lord.
* To live a life of ready repentance, to accept resonsibilty for our actions, words and attitudes.
* To fill ourselves with the Word of God.
* To open ourselves to and be obedient to the Spirt of God.
* To learn to walk with Jesus
Simple, right?
It is what the Lord desires of us. Why do we fail so consistantly?
If you know the secret to total surender, please share. That is where I wish to reside.

Praying the Word of the Lord:
Psalm 25
King James Version (KJV)
“Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. For thy name’s sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins. Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.”
Lord, hear this my prayer. I look, trust and wait on You. Lord, remember Your words, forgive me, supply our needs. You are my Savior, Lord, Shepherd, Provider and my ever present help in times of trouble.
The time is now.
