As we navigate this crazy world, we need to look at the Wisdom that came before.

The Preacher, the Wisdom of the ages, God’s plans and desires explained and exposed. Mankind lifted above the ignorance and fear of the unknown. We must search.

‘I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness:’ (Ecclesiastes 7:25)

“Yet I did spot one ray of light in this murk: God made men and women true and upright; we’re the ones who’ve made a mess of things.“ (Ecclesiastes 7:29 The Message)

The light overpowers the darkness! ‘GOD MADE MAN UPRIGHT!’ This simple truth brings us to the Wisdom of the Ages. It is man and man alone who has made the mess we are in.

We cannot blame the woman, (our first response), the evil one, (still not the right response), only ourselves, our free wills.

The Lord gave us the ability to accept or reject His perfect plan and we have chosen our path.

Our decisions have brought us to where we are today, and to this other simple truth.

Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. (Ecclesiastes 7:8)

‘BETTER IS THE END OF A THING!’

This is where I am living today. Is it the end? Am I physically about finished? Maybe, who knows? It is quite possible. Am I prepared? Yes!

My love and trust is in the Lord, and He has promised: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3)

How long a life

So the outcome is out of my hands. The peace that God promises is a peace that passes all understanding, all we are required to do is to trust, (rely upon, belief, walk, understand and obey), the simple directions of the Lord.

One thing we fail to realize, the Lord asks very little of us: In Exodus 16 we find some of His first instructions. ‘Collect only enough manna to fulfill your needs TODAY. We often insist we must plan for the future.

Man’s plans are never in line with God’s perfect road map for our lives. He would rather we watch and pray. We desire mental, physical, and emotional movement. Something where we can say look what we did.

The Lord wants the Glory, Honor, and Praise! He is not one to share in this.

He is the Creator, the Supreme Ruler, the Almighty God. Ruler, King, Dictator, and ultimate lover of mankind.

Am I at the end of this time on earth? I sometimes pray that the pain would leave. That the true and perfect peace would find and engulf me.

In the last few years:

Arthritis- pain, uncomfortable, with the Lord, I walked. it through. Pain, and complain.

CHF- Congestive Heart Failure, not so much fun. Mainly out of it little to report. In Hospital for here come.

Stage 4 Renal Failure- Kidney failure, again mostly out of it. Nothing to share.

Pulmonary Hypertension- Interesting, the heart is unable to deliver fresh air and blood to the lungs. Not able to work or do much of anything. I feel good as long as I am stationary.

Calciphylaxis- My current complaint. Pain, cannot think, walk, talk. I cannot and do not enjoy any aspect of life.

So yes, the End will Certainly be better than the beginning.
