The never ending cycle: The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station

Lord, thank You for the work You’ve sent us this month.
Lord, please send us some work.
Lord, thank You for providing all my needs, according to Your riches in glory, in Christ Jesus.
Lord, please meet out needs, today.
Lord, I thank You for giving us strength and health, the ability to do what is needed.
Lord, help me, now, today, I am weak, hurt, confused….
Lord, help please.
Lord, give us this day, our daily bread.

The Lord knows what we have need of, before we ask Him.  So why must we ask?  Why must we thank Him?

The birds and flowers just keep on without thought.   The truth is most of us just keep on without thinking also.

When we give thanks, when we pray, we are acknowledging His place and position as Lord, Master, Provider, the Lover of our souls.

I am embarassed to always need work, to ask for prayer for work. (What do people think?).

I also realize, I do not always remember to thank Him for the work He has sent.

Our lack may be Gods way of reminding us where our provision comes from.

Give us this day…..

If we would take His Yoke and walk with Him daily, I believe our needs would be met.

We end up pleading, asking, praying for that which is ours already through and in Christ.

As we learn to stay beside Him, trust and rely on Him, learn of Him, lean on Him, love Him.

He supplies all our needs, wants and the  desires of our hearts, because He has given us His Godly desires.

Amen

Thanks for visiting. Come back soon.
Know you are loved.

  1. Thank you for this posting. I really related to so much of it, especially the forgetting to thank God for all he does for us especially when we do not ask, it proves over and over how much he watches over us and sees what we need and gives it to us, it may be as small as helping me not to fall or as big as helping me make a big life decision that I have struggled with.
