“What evil lerks in the hearts of men?  The Shadow Knows.

He’s not alone.  At the beginning of the ministry of Jesus, He turned water into wine.

John 2
“This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.”

His disciples, the men who had walked with Him since John the Baptist  pointed Him out.  Saw His miracle and believed. 

By the end of the chapter times have changed.

“Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,  And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.”

He knew what was in man.  Do we know what is in ourselves?

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

David prayed for God to “Create in me a clean heart”.   If the man after Gods heart needs to pray this how much more I?

I desire to love God, walk with God, be obedient to God and I fail daily.   I must repent over the same things, refight the battle I won yesterday but lost again this morning.

I am so glad that Jesus knows what is in me, yet He loved me enough to die on the cross. 

To separate Himself from the Father, that I could enter the Holy of Hollies to receive mercy and grace,  (Salvation ), in my time of need.

Lord, create in me a clean heart, help me to walk with You.  To be a vessel of Your love.
