I say unto thee, Arise 4: The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station
This finally brings me back to my original thoughts and message of this scipture. Sorry it has been a long and tortures journey.
Jesus said:
Luke 7
King James Version (KJV)
“Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.”
“And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.”
Raising the dead, healing the sick, comforting the broken hearted. Jesus saw, had compassion, touched them, then spoke what they needed into existance.
From the beginning God said. In the New Testament, Jesus said:
“Are ye also yet without understanding?”
“It is written”
“Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.”
He directs us to truth, it is up to us to believe.
“Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.”
“Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
“If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.”
Release unto God that which you hold in closest, let the Lord have that place in your heart.
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”
“Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.”
“Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole.”
“Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.”
“I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger;”
“Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.”
“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”
“Neither do I condemn thee:”
“If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
Can we believe Do we believe? Are we resting in, trusting in, letting Him rule and reign in our lives.
Are you hearing Him speak to you, through His Word, acting apon in? Not only must we hear and act, we must learn to speak, His will, His words, His desire.
Matthew 17:20
King James Version (KJV)
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
ONLY BELIEVE AND NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE UNTO YOU.
Faith is believing God IS, and believing HE IS a rewarder of those who seek HIM.
Lord, help us to seek Your face. Help us to speak Your will into existence.
I say unto thee, Arise 2: The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station
When I wrote the first post on this scripture, I got lost in compassion. I hope to bring out the other qualities Jesus displayed this trip.
Luke 7
King James Version (KJV)
“Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.”
Raising the dead, healing the sick, comforting the broken hearted. Jesus saw them, had compassion on them and “touched them“.
Matthew 8:3
“And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”
Matthew 17:7
“And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.”
Matthew 20:34
“So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.”
Mark 1:41
“And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.”
Mark 5:27
“When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.”
Luke 8:45
“And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?”
Luke 8:46
“And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.”
The touch of Jesus is what heals, saves and sets us free. He longs to touch all of us. He stands at the door of our hearts, knocking.
Have we let Him in? Have we let Him control our lives, our hearts, our minds? He reaches out to us.
He also recognizes when we reach out and touch Him. I believe this is the quickest route to receiving what we need.
Hebrews 4:16
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Where is this throne of grace? AT THE FEET OF JESUS.
We must learn to sit at His feet, become one who loves Him. Learn to touch the hem of His garment. Lead us to those still waters Lord, please. Amen

Raising the dead, healing the sick, comforting the broken hearted. Jesus had compassion on them because “He first saw them.”
Mark 2:5
“When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”
Mark 10:14
“But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”
Mark 12:34
“And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.”
Luke 13:12
“And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.”
Luke 18:24
“And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!”
John 5:6
“When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?”
It was opened eyes that led Him to compassion, we must learn to see, and recognize the Lords hand and plan.
Then we must learn to act.
Only then the world will see, know, consider and understand that our God is alive and able to do exceedingly abudantly above all we ask or imagine.
Isaiah 41:20
“That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.”
The Gifts of the Spirit were given to build His Church. Shouldn’t we see them and learn their use? Sign posts to the Kingdom, need to be read, to be understood.
Open our eyes, Lord. Amen

“He had compassion on her.”
We keep seeing this:
com·pas·sion
noun
: a feeling of wanting to help someone who is sick, hungry, in trouble, etc.
Jesus:
“He had compassion”
“he was moved with compassion on them,”
“Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.”
“I have compassion on the multitude,”
“Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.”
“Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.”
“Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.”
“Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them,”
“I have compassion on the multitude,”
From Abram, praying for the Righteous, in Sodom and Gomorrah, to Moses, praying for the Hebrews, when the Lord was ready to destroy them.
The Lord acts in and on the behalf of those with “compassion on others.” He gives “Words of Wisdom and Knowledge”, “Shall I hide this thing from Abram?” From those who care beyond themselves.
I firmly believe we would see miracles, signs and wonders, at the point of our having, true compassion for others.
When like Moses, we can say:
“Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin–; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.”
I have seen it in my own walk. Someone I cared for was sick, I asked the Lord, to heal her, to give it to me. I felt His power, she was healed. (I didn’t receive the sickness, God took it).
I believe this to be an important ingredient to being allowed to exercise the power of healings, miracles, signs and wonders.
“compassion”
“Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another,”
“whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?”
“And of some have compassion, making a difference:”
“Compassion, may be the difference between life and death, sickness and health. Power and hot air.
Lord, help me to see, understand and have compassion on those in need of Your touch.
A Simple Biblical Truth, Revisited: The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station
Romans 10:9-10
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
A Simple Truth:
Believe and Confess/Confess and Believe. They go together like a horse and carriage, or love and marriage.
Which comes first?
Today it is anyones guess,… but historically; The horse pulled the carriage, Love led to marriage and believing leads to confession.
As Christians, belief and confession is the only, acceptable road to Salvation. I know of no other path to the Father except through the Son.
Taking this as truth, we should live this:
Mark 16:
“these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Jesus to believers.
Why do we see so few signs:
(: something (such as an action or event) which shows that something else exists, is true, or will happen). Websters definition.
We see very few wonders:
(: a feeling caused by seeing something that is very surprising, beautiful, amazing, etc.
: something that is surprising or hard to believe). Webster again.
“SHALL FOLLOW” Do they? IF SO; THEY ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN.
For well over 35 years, I have been telling myself, these things are not happening because:
➤ “I cannot be trusted”:
1. To give Him the Glory.
2. To remain faithful and true.
3. To humble myself to His will.
➤ “I am not Spititual enough to be used”:
I am not walking in the light, life and in the power of His Yoke. I am not at rest in Him. I am not in tune with His will.
This all may be true, for me, but, what is your excuse?
IT IS ALL NONSENCE:
Jesus, did not give any conditions, or experation dates… THE ONLY CONDITION… IS BELIEVE.
As we must confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, to be Saved, we must confess His will and Word to see results.
Signs and Wonders, should be and must be the natural result of our belief. If we do not see them we have a problem with our belief.
The problem is if? If it is Your will? Really, did you not understant what He said?
“THESE SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW”.
Who?
“THOSE THAT BELIEVE”.
That should be you and me.
We will see signs and wonders following, when we learn the simple truth. Believe and Confess.
Yes, that simple.. “Be healed in the Name of Jesus.” Be thou removed in the Name of Jesus.”
It is the Name of Jesus, that holds the power of resurection, healing, deliverance, recovery of sight, hearing, a sound mind.
We confess Salvation, because we believe.
We need to confess and believe to see…
Does it make sense? Not really, then again Salvation is a fact, and, still a mystery.
Start to stand on Gods Word, Believe Gods Word, ACT ON GODS WORD.
Saints, the Devil is in our (unspoken), Doctrine. Speak, Believe and See the Salvation of God.
Blessed:
I was Blessed today by the opportunity to preach at Sea Leval UMC and at Cedar Island UMC.
Best time I’ve had in quite a while. I spoke on One Thing, from Joshua, David, Jesus, Paul and Peter.
It boils down to taking His Yoke and walking with Him. If I could figure out how, I would include an audio copy.
I have not had any luck in the past, altho, I pay the extra so I should be able to. Any ideas.
thanks,

Take good heed unto yourselves: The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station
Joshua 23:11-16
King James Version (KJV)
“Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God.”
Good advise from Joshua.
As darkness desires to overcome, to cover and overtake the earth. We in our ignorance, have welcomed, encouraged and even sought it.
All in the hope of hiding, (if only from ourselves), the sorry state of our souls.
We have given ungodly men the authority to lead our government, allowed the ungodly to rule in our highest courts, elected the ungodly to our highest offices.
The entertainment we welcome into our homes, degrades our morals, is diminishing our intelligence, tickles and encourages the worst, of that, which is, within us.
Sin is no longer shameful. It is lawful, even encouraged. We are leading our children to believe, there are no standards, of right and wrong, male or female, good and evil.
The only thing we can do is: “Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God.”
The only way to overcome this darkness is by shining the light of truth upon it. We must transform ourselves into lovers of God, instead of sin.
Our light must shine brightly, to show the way out of darkness. Our hearts must be full of His love, His Grace, even His Mercy. To be ready to pull the lost and dying out of the fire and into the light.
The only way we will win, is to: “Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God.”
Let the love of God shine through. Amen

Church, (Houston), We have a problem: The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station
Apollo 13, was a wonderful movie. Even though we knew the end, it had us on the edge of our seats.
Unfortunately, like Apollo 13, the Church has a problem. Possibly just as deadly as that problem in space, that we don’t recognize or understand.
No, we aren’t running out of breathable air, (from God made, climate change), or having problems reentering the earths atmosphere.
No, our problem is bringing the Church into the Spiritual Realm of God, teaching, igniting the desire, of His church, to abide in His atmosphere. (Praise, for the Lord inhabits the Praise of His people).
We love the Lord. (He wants us to love one another).
We sing about the Lords Love, His Grace, We Praise His Might, Wisdom, Power.
We long to learn about His ways, His wants, His desires.
We talk about prayer, we talk about His healing Power, we talk about worship…. but do we?
This my friends, is the problem.
We sing about Him – WE NEED TO SING TO HIM.
We learn about Him – WE NEED TO KNOW HIM.
We talk about the Holy Place, (the secret place – WE NEED TO ENTER IN.
This is a distinction I have had a hard time teaching the wonderful UMC, I lead music in.
They love The Lord and to sing of the Promised Land, Prayer, the Old Country Church. Anything with a lot of verses, that tells a story.
They do not understand that when we sing the Psalms, the Word of God, it is not a mindless repetition, but thought full reflection, a meditation, it is prayer, in song.
When we sing His Word, we are singing His will. We are displaying our love for Him and His Word. We acknowledge, His Majesty.
Psalm 5:1-3
King James Version (KJV)
“Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.”
Psalm 84:11-12
King James Version (KJV)
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.”
Psalm 37:23-24
King James Version (KJV)
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.”
Isaiah 55:12
King James Version (KJV)
“For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”
Singing the Psalms, the word of God, to God, releases the Spirit of God, to move and show Himself strong in our lives.
We find ourselves memorizing His Word, being filled with His Spirit, His Faith, Hope and Love…
If we allow ourselves to be lost in the melody, to become one in the Spirit, one with God. We find the Grace and Mercy, we seek, in our times of need.
Praise, becomes a song to our love, not about, we begin to know Him, (Biblically), not with our intellect, but with our hearts, He becomes our hearts desire. Our all in all.
Lord, help me to love You. Help me to be full of Your Spirit, to Walk in Your Ways, under the direction of Your Spirit.
Help me to be immersed, full to overflowing with Your Spirit of Love and Grace.
May you be lifted up in my life. Amen

My friend jacqui had this on her blog, http://thelordismyshepardblog.wordpress.com
I shared it on April 21, 20/16. I cannot let it go. I believe it speaks of the church I play piano at. I’ve never been able to explain.
Maybe this does. What do you think?

Have you ever seen or heard of a bride that sings a billion songs, a billion times over, about him, but sings very few songs to him…in their trysting place? just the two of them?
Have you ever seen or heard of a bride that writes billions of books, a billion times over, about him, but doesn’t know him in the biblical sense of the word?
Have you ever seen or heard of a bride whose priority is to learn about him, rather than to be with him?…in their trysting place? just the two of them?
…a bride that doesn’t know where the trysting place is? when the trysting place is? why the trysting place is?
Please speak to me
