The Saints in Houston: theunfetteredpreacher

The devastation, heartbreak, and sorrow for the people of Houston is felt throughout this great country.

The Cajun and Waco Navies, the first responders, the next door neighbors, friends, strangers…. everyman.

All pulling together, helping one another, working, crying, praying.

A picture of love, in the most trying of times.

Then we have the commentators. Shoes, big buildings not available, Confederate Flags flown by rescuers.

My advice, to all of us who are not there, in the fray….

Pray, send cash to the Salvation Army or the organization of your choice.

Pray, Cry, and Pray some more. Then:

1 Thessalonians: 4:11-12

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

Look after your own attitude, heart and mind.

The Lord will deal with those we think are gaming the system.

Not our monkeys or circus….

GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL.

My Story: theunfetteredpreacher

The Fence:

We had an old wooden fence around our front porch.

The spindles were not all even in its spacing, and our dog had many avenues of escape.

Bette, my sweet wife, wanted the new prefabricated fence.

Prefabricated? Yeah, right,… delivered in pieces… with directions for assembly.

The top picture, was the first to be put together. I was so proud… straight, leval… (pretty work). lol

It took my wives help to fit the spindles into the top rail and connect it to the end posts.

The next step? Turn the corner. The desire? To match the hight of the first piece.

Looks like I was one half inch low…. I didn’t notice at the time. I finished that section. (Again could not have got the top rail on without Bette’s assistance).

Again straight and leval, all the way down the other sections.

So pleased with myself, (and thankful for Bette’s assistance), only the gate left on the far end. I sat in my rocker to admire my fine work.

One word… SATISFACTION. until, … I noticed that second section, at the corner.

Now, I know, it should have been cleaned and painted first. It wasn’t. Nuff said.

No, it was the corner itself.

So proud of it being straight and leval. How did I end up higher than the first section?

I didn’t notice I had not knocked the top rail to the bottom of the clip it hooked to.

So the rest of the fence is higher than the original.

No worries…. I can live with and laugh at my mistakes.

It will still keep the dog inside. (We hope).

It still looks ok.

No the fence really isn’t the point of the story.

The story is the Gospel, Jesus gave us the first section.

Straight, leval, strong and true.

Full of Power to heal the sick, comfort the brokenhearted, to save the lost.

The Church turned the corner. Didn’t notice, we weren’t matched up perfectly.

We had the Word, the promise, the hope of Salvation, of Healing of Love, Peace and Joy.

What’s missing? Power.

The Church, by not matching the plan of Jesus, has lost the Power of His Promise.

Where have we gone wrong?

Like the Jews, before Jesus. We took His Words and added to it.

We added Ceremonies, Rituals, Readings, Order…. theses are all man’s inventions.

Jesus taught, touched, ate and met needs.

The Apostles sang, shared, prayed, taught, touched, ate and met needs.

In one accord…. believing His PROMISES.

We have an order of service, the music minister leads us to the announcements and offering.

Then the Pastor leads us in prayer and readings. If he is any good he teaches and touches the needs of the flock.

The problem is, the Pastor, loves the Lord, but has no inspired word from God.

It is easy to teach and preach. We can do that in our natural man.

To work in the Power of God, takes the Spiritual Man.

A man who doesn’t just read and study the Word, but believes and acts on it also.

We must lay hands on the sick, if we expect the Lord to work through us.

We must not give excuses, if we do not see results. According to our Faith and the Faith of the one in need…. so be it.

SAINTS, EXPECT THE WORD TO BE TRUE.

IT IS TRUE. THAT WE DO NOT SEE IT WORKING, IS OUR PROBLEM NOT HIS.

BELIEVE AND RECEIVE.

Build yourself by the renewing of your mind, studying to show yourself approved, recognizing and acting on the Revelation you will receive as you determine to draw closer to God.

Know the power of His Resurrection, the fellowship of His Sufferings, be Conformed to His Image.

Take up His Yoke. Walk with Him.

Build His Church.

Both tickled and ticked off: theunfetteredpreacher

Does it concern you?

That the SYMBOLS OF HATE…. KKK, WHITE SUPREMACY…. Confederate Flags and Statues…. ECT….

Are considered worse than the actual HATE AND VIOLENCE OF THE ANTIFA AND BLACK LIVES MATTER?

Wake up, America!!!

The Uninspired Word of Man: theunfetteredpreacher

I am frustrated, distressed, and dismayed.

How is it, that so many of God’s people, believe their Denominations teaching over the Word of God.

If Martin Luther had not accepted the revelation of Faith over Works, we would all be Catholics.

Calvin and the Wesley brothers, discovered, and accepted more Truth, then those who came before.

Yet, there are still Catholics, Baptists and Methodists today. Still following the dead Founders of their Denominations.

“The Truth has been found, long live this Truth. All has been revealed.”

The problem is, there is more to be revealed to those who seek Him.

We have a number of Preachers who are Preaching the Uninspired Word of Man, instead of the INSPIRED WORD OF GOD.

How do we know the difference?

Job 32:8
But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

I have been in this Methodist Church for 7 or 8 years. I have heard 1 Corinthians 13, preached 4-6 times,

The only mention of Chapters, 12 and 14, have been taught by me.

Pentecost happens but no mention of all speaking in tongues. No understanding the difference of Tongues and Interpretation and our Prayer Language.

If it isn’t in the Denominations Lexicon, it isn’t important.

The Lord is bigger than our Denominational beliefs, understanding.

The Bible is full of unrevealed secrets, waiting for whosoever will seek Him.

The Lord wants His Power and Anointing known.

Acts 10:38
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

When God is with us, there should be signs and wonders, even miracles following.

Hebrews 1:9
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

We like Jesus should be walking, living in the Anointing.

Mark 16:20
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Acts 15:32
And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.”

Acts 5:12
And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.”

John 14:11-14

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Saints, we should be in a living Church, a Church that experiences the Power and Anointing of God.

If you don’t see that in your Church, at least seek for it in your life.

Jesus used, signs and wonders and miracles to draw all men to Himself.

Why do we think our Uninspired Words will draw men?

We NEED THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD, THE ANOINTING OF GOD. SIGNS, WONDERS AND MIRACLES….. to do the WORK OF GOD.

Do not settle for:

2 Timothy 3:5
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

According to YOUR FAITH.

Bette’s eclipse

Bette’s FB Post of eclipse trip.

In our area of eastern NC the coverage of the sun was 93%, and I thought it might be an interesting experience. My husband and I, though – flying by the seats of our pants – decided quickly Monday morning and were in the car headed towards totality within one hour. The eclipse had started by the time we pulled off I 95 and into an impromptu spot and watched with the people gathered there. And it was interesting…until it became AWESOME. Seeing the changes above and feeling the effects of darkness falling suddenly was great, but to see the magnificence of the totally eclipsed sun…the corona…the diamond ring…nothing compares. It still takes my breath away. Solar eclipse chasers – you made me want to do this! Thank you ever so much!

She is quite impressed, so am I.

God is Great.

The Ministry Years: The final recorded Miracles: theunfetteredpreacher

The final reported Miracles of the Risen Savior.

We should keeps our eyes, ears, hearts and minds open to the possibility of seeing Him ourselves.

Luke 24

two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus,

Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

the eleven gathered together,

as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations

it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

Matthew 28

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 20,21

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias;

many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Mark 16

After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

The Word confirmed, with signs and wonders following.

Lord, please confirm Your Word. Amen

Oh, the humanity: theunfetteredpreacher

Oh, the humanity.

13 dead, and 1 dead, from a deliberate terrorism by car.

The Media is consumed with our President aligning the KKK to Antifa and BLM’s.

The implication is Antifa, and BLM, are Righteous, their cause Just, that the Lawbreaking, Police Killing, Confederate History Erasing , is all normal behavior.

IT IS NOT.

The KKK is despicable, as are Antifa and BLM’s.

They are all terrorists. They should be prosecuted and jailed. If caught in the act, SHOT….

We need to adhere to the law. Respect the law. Support the law abiding, and prosecute the lawless.

The President is right. The left… KKK, ANTIFA AND BLM’s, are ALL EQUALLY AT FAULT.

Quit pretending, the lefts, law breakers, are great people, and the Conservatives, (not the KKK), but Conservatives, Patriots, people who just want to Make America Great Again, are the ones to hate.

We need to use our God given intellect, to sort through the lies and intellectual dishonesty of the left, and join together to, MAGA.

Rant complete. Amen

The Ministry Years: Miracle 39- – The Tomb is empty – wondering in himself – theunfetteredpreacher

The Tomb is empty.

The last Miracle before the ascension.

Luke 24:1-12 (KJV)  Mark 16:1-8 (KJV)  Matthew 28:1-8 (KJV)
John 20:1-12 (KJV)

The  Tomb is empty.

Peter, “wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

They had seen Him dead, and buried.  They came to ready Him for a proper burial.

The Tomb is empty.

Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary , “they were much perplexed.”

The Tomb was empty.

The Apostles.    “they believed them not.

The Tomb was empty.

Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome.  “they trembled and were amazed:”

they were afraid.”

The Tomb was empty.

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary.  “departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy;

The Tomb was empty.

Mary Magdalene.  “stood without at the sepulchre weeping:”

Wondering in himself, perplexed, believed not, trembled, amazed, afraid, fear and great joy, (having heard the promise of a Resurrected Christ), Stood weeping.

How would we have reacted?  The Word tells us they had not yet,  “remembered his words,”  “For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.”

This should open our eyes.  We have Scripture, that, As yet we know not the meaning.   Do not reject out of hand a revelation a saint may have.

Study to see if these things be true.  If it is a revelation from God, there will be two or three other scriptures to confirm.

If you find confirmation, embrace this new revelation, it is given to carry out the Lords work.

Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”

The Lord has given us the bricks to build His Church.  (the gifts of the Spirit),  We must learn to use them.

Luke 24:1-12 (KJV)

“Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

And they remembered his words,

And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.

Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.”

Mark 16:1-8 (KJV)

“And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.”

Matthew 28:1-8 (KJV)

“In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.”

John 20:1-12 (KJV)

“The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.

So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.

And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.

But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.”

The Ministry Years: Miracle 38. – – theunfetteredpreacher

Luke 22:48-54 (KJV)

The healing of the servant of the high priests ear.

No muss, no fuss, He reached out and touched. Why do we have such a hard time, accepting the promise of our doing the same?

We no longer  believe like a little child, knowing our needs and desires are met.

Just a touch from Jesus, saves, heals, sets free, comforts, gives peace, joy, and love.

Accept Him and His Gifts today.

Don’t be like Peter.

Luke 22:48-54 (KJV)

48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
52 Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off.

Boiled Over: theunfetteredpreacher

White Supremacy, white privilege, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, KKK, Black Panthers…ect, ect, ect…..

All groups full of hate.

What to do? Have we strayed so far from God, we are doomed?

Has the Godless left won?

Is our youth, so intellectually challenged, that they do not recognize how foolish it is to try to erase history?

Our esteemed Governor, Roy Cooper has jumped on the band wagon, he would remove all the Confederate Statues to museums….

STOP THIS MADNESS…. STOP IT, STOP IT, STOP IT….

You cannot change history. If you forget it, you are bound to repeat it.

There is much in my life, I am ashamed of.   There is much, I wish,  that I never had thought of doing, never mind having done.

But, it is done.  I was a fool, who did foolish things that hurt others and myself.  I am sorry for my failures, my mistakes, my SINS.

They happened.  I cannot deny them.  They are part of my History.  A History that cannot be changed.

It can only be regretted, repented of, and denied the opportunity to occur again.

A changed heart and mind are required.

Why are we so offended by inanimate objects?

While we are not offended, by the  disregard of our laws?  Public property, destroyed,  of thinking, if we do not see it, it never happened.

Pulling down statutes,  does not erase the truth they represent.

Quit acting like ignorant 14th century people.

We must learn from our past.  Make a better future.

Quit repeating the horrors we are trying to erase.

Lord, come soon.   Amen

The Ministry Years: Miracle 37 -perfected praise- theunfetteredpreacher

Matthew 21:12-16. (KJV)

The cleansing of the Temple,  my house is a house of prayer, not a den of thieves.

In the midst, of throwing out the thieves, He found those needing a touch from Him.

The blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.”

The scribes and priests,  saw this… and were displeased.    Why?

They were not the center of attention.   Jesus, went about doing good, free, for real.  The religious were not happy.

Those He touched, lifted praise to the King.  We need to lift praise, accept His touch, share His love.

Perfect Praise, is  realizing, His Power and Love.

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,

16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

The Ministry Years: Miracle 36 – – theunfetteredpreacher

Matthew 20:29-34  Mark 10:46-52

Luke 18:35-43

Once again Jesus going to where people had needs.

Blind men calling to Him….  When rebuked by the crowd called even more.

It is interesting, Jesus, did not go to them, but called them to come to Him.

We must come to Jesus,  He is always there, just out of our way.  He doesn’t interfere in our life’s choices, freewill is always available.

He allows us to choose wrong, or right.  We reap the reward of our choices.   Notice, they were specific, when asked their desire.

That my eyes be opened, that I would receive my sight.

That is a prayer we need to pray for the world.  That our eyes be opened.  That we would see into the spiritual realm.  That we would understand His love.

Immediately they could see.

When we come to the Lord, (we must leave our sinful nature and desires behind), when we come, ready to believe and obey, we find ourselves healed, set free, and forgiven.

If we would just learn how to enter the Holy of Holies, we would live, lives of answered prayers.

Matthew 20:29-34  (KJV)

29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

Mark 10:46-52 (KJV)

46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Luke 18:35-43 (KJV)

35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

The Song: theunfetteredpreacher

No this is not about the Song of Solomon.

It’s not really even a song. It is a lament, a cry, a stirring of the soul.

A dirge.

Sorrowful, yet empty,

painful, yet pure.

A groaning, that cannot be uttered.

A desire that cannot be fulfilled.

A wound, that will not heal.

Dissatisfied, disappointed, disturbed, destroyed…. decimated.

Hope Lost, and Hopeless.

Yet; Understanding that, in Truth, I am:

FORGIVEN, I AM, BLAMELESS, MY SIN AND SHAME, IS AS FAR AWAY, AS THE EAST IS FROM THE WEST.

I AM COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, I AM SAVED BY THE GREAT I AM.

The word of God, brings hope, that isn’t seen, causes faith to grow, opens the eyes of our understanding.

If Abram, at 75, began, his walk before the Lord, and became a friend of God.

If Moses, at 80, met the Trinity, walked in the ways of the Lord, and talked to the Lord, face to face like a man to a friend.

If Enoch, at 65, walked with God for 300 years, and was not, because God took him.

It is possible that Bill, at 64, in time, may be noticed and useful to God.

It is possible, a life has not been wasted.

The last, will be better then the first.

The future much brighter, than the past.

The Mountain, removed and the path made straight.

The Gospel of the Lord proclaimed, the lost, saved, the sick healed, the brokenhearted, comforted.

The Glory of our King Revealed.

My cry?

Come, Lord Jesus, Come.

The Ministry Years: Miracle 35 – – theunfetteredpreacher

Luke 13:10-17 (KJV)

Another working on the Sabbath Miracle.

Jesus, teaching in the Synagogue recognized, a woman with a spirit of infirmity for 18 years.

This was a Word of Knowledge, given to Him by the Holy Spirit.

He saw her, called her to Him, spoke healing to her, and laid hands on her.

The Gifts of Healing, was employed.

Immediately she was healed, and she glorified God.

This is how the Gifts of the Spirit should work.

Instead of desiring the best gifts, we discuss healing on the Sabbath.

Jesus plainly told them, there is never a wrong time, to do good.

His adversaries were ashamed, all others rejoiced, when His power is revealed.

Saints, when the Spirit if God is present in a man, a Church, a congregation…. Great Multitudes will gather, healings will occur.

Signs and Wonders will be seen following the Anointed of God.

We have many Preachers and Teachers, doing their best to share the Gospel, and bring people into the Kingdom.

There are few, who have pushed through into the Holy of Holies.

We love them, if they are Billy Graham or Beth Moore, or someone else from a major Denomination.

We call them charlatans, or false teachers, if they teach prosperity, healing, miracles.

We must learn to read and teach the Full Council of God.

The Word has almost 100 verses, that tell us God would have those who love Him to prosper.

Verses that explain, He wants good things, for those who love and obey Him.

Granted, He also lets us know, we will be persecuted, we will suffer, loss, troubles, and problems.

Whether it is chastisement from the Lord, testing He allows, (like Job), or we are sowing what we have reaped.

We need to live the Full Council of God.

He would have us victorious, for the Lord, in our lives.

Luke 13:10-17 (KJV)

10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

I am Esau: theunfetteredpreacher

Genesis 27:34
And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.

Genesis 27:38
And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

I love the Lord, yet I wonder, is there not a blessing for me?

Why am I here? Is this all there is? Is there no place for me?

The Ministry Years: Lazarus – Miracle 34 – For the glory of God – theunfetteredpreacher

In John, chapters 11 and 12, we find the story of  Lazarus, I do not know that I can do it justice.   It is one of the most loved and told stories, of Jesus.

Lazarus, Mary and Martha:   People who loved Jesus, who were also, on the short list, with John the Disciple, and the rich, young ruler,  that Jesus loved.

Yes, He loves us all, but these folks, it is written, were loved by Him.

John the Disciple, leaned on Jesus’s breast, told to look after Mary, the mother of our Lord, at the crucifixion.   The only Disciple, to die a natural death.

The rich young ruler, the heart of Jesus, broken as he walked away, he couldn’t give up all he had, to gain all he could ever desire, by accepting Jesus.

The family of Lazarus, Mary and Martha.  These folks were not just followers of Jesus, but friends.

He spent time at their home, teaching, eating, enjoying their company.  They understood Him, more than many others.

They had eyes to see, and ears to hear, hearts and minds that understood, and excepted Him, as He was, and what He had to do.

Lazarus was dying, they sent for Jesus.   He waited two days, then traveled back to Bethany, back to an area, where the Religious wanted Him dead.

Thomas said:  “Let us also go, that we may die with him.

Jesus waited till Lazarus was dead, so His Disciples would have one more proof of His sovereignty.  That the Glory of the Lord, might be displayed.

That people might believe.

Twice, He groaned in His spirit. This was His human spirit, after all He is and was God, the Creator of all, the Word.

He knew He could and would raise Lazarus from the dead.  He groaned in His spirit, as he recognized and had compassion for His friends loss.

He called for Lazarus to come forth.

Six days before His last Passover, He was back, to receive from Mary, the anointing for his death.

Many came to see both Jesus and Lazarus.  He came to give Himself for our sins.

John 11 (KJV)

11 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
7 Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.
8 His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
16 Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
17 Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
18 Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.
30 Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.
31 The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.
32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled.
34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
35 Jesus wept.
36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

John 12. (KJV)

12 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him,

Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.

Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;

11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

What boils my bacon?

Our Congress.

Hired to do the work, of repealing Obama Care, Buildingthe Wall and fixing our Tax structure.

What do we receive?

Nothing.

What boils my bacon?

Adult people, people over 21. Voters… that do not accept an election held 8 months ago.

It is over, gripe all you want, (to each other), I do not care to listen to you cry babies.

We put up with ‘O’s destruction of our standing in the world, the decimation of racial harmony, the disrespect of our police and service people.

Enough already.

What boils my bacon?

Sin is an Urge: Bill Hitchcock

Another great word from Bill Hitchcock…

https://www.facebook.com/bill.hitchcock.79

Sin Is An Urge

Jesus told the woman caught in the act of adultery, “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” (John 8:11). Go and sin no more is a guiding principle of the Christian religion. But have you ever stopped and really thought what sin was? After all, how can you stop doing something if you don’t have a clear picture of what “it” is?

Sin is an urge, a strong desire to go against the will of God and to act upon that urge. So sin has two sides to it, the urge and then the action. The Christian battle is with the urge to sin. It’s called temptation. As long as we stay in the fight with temptation then God will strengthen us and guide us to victory. But if we lose faith in God and His abilities we will lose the fight. We fall or transgress from the urge to the action and committal of sin. We now have yielded our self over to that sin. Jesus said, “Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” (John 8:34)

“Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.” (Romans 6:12).

Once we have acted upon the urge to sin, we give up on God and yield to whatever sin it was. That sin now has dominion over our soul and body.

Sin is like alcoholism. The alcoholic is controlled and owned by alcohol. He has yielded himself to it completely. He knows it is bad but when he tries to quit the addiction draws him back in with strong cravings. All sin acts in the same fashion.

So what do we do once we realize that we are in complete darkness of sin?
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:5-9).

God is the light. If we repent of our sins He will cleanse us of all darkness and sin. He certainly will cleanse us for he does not want anyone to die and sin kills!

“For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.” (Ezekiel 18:32).

Once cleansed we must resume the fight of temptation with the sin we were just freed from. The only way to do that is: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.” (Proverbs 3:5-8).

But we must be very careful to never fall again for the second fall is usually much worse than the first. Jesus warned the man who had been healed of an infirmity of 38 years, “Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” (John 5:14)

Jesus died on the cross so we would have the ability to fight, fall, repent and fight temptation again. Never think it is too late. It isn’t. Don’t let sin reign in your body. Rid yourself of the darkness within.

Repent! Trust in God and live!

The Ministry Years: Miracle 33 – The Seventy Sent – theunfetteredpreacher

The seventy sent out, only found in Luke 10, the Full Chapter.

The Lord would have us, follow these instructions.

The Harvest, is truly great, we are His labourers. Will we venture forth?

First:

Do not go alone…. work in pairs, or be sure to have taken on the Yoke of Jesus.

(His yoke is easy, His burden is light, we shall find rest, in the Work of the Lord).

Second:

We should go forth, no money, extra clothing, or shoes. We must rely on God for our provision.

Today, Religion insists on sponsors.

Third:

We are to stay, where we are accepted, we are told to, eat what is given, bless those who are worthy, heal those who are sick, and Proclaim the Kingdom of God.

Let us get this straight.

We are to go.

We are to stay where we are accepted. (Shake the dust off if not accepted).

We are to eat and drink whatsoever is given to us.

We are to heal the sick.

We are to Proclaim the Kingdom.

What we do.

Attend Church on Sundays. If we are Spiritual, maybe Sunday night and Wednesday too.

If we go forth, we must have a sponsor that will supply our needs, when, God fails us.

We like to choose our foods, and drink, thank you.

We will pray for the sick. (If God is willing,) He might heal them.

We will mumble something about the Kingdom of God? Maybe…

The Seventy were rewarded, for their obedience.

“The seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Yet, we are afraid to go forth, and when we pray, we question Gods will and abilities.

Do we then wonder, at the lack of results?

The truth is hid from the wise and prudent.

What does that make me? How about you?

Luke 10:1-21

Luke: 10:1-21

“After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:

And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,

Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.”

The Ministry Years: Miracle 32 – He saw a man – theunfetteredpreacher

John 9:  Full Chapter

He saw a man.

Jesus, again a traveling man, Saw a blind man, and acted.  Who sinned?  Why is he blind?

No one, he is blind, so we could see God’s grace and glory.   The Power of God displayed.

Clay, spit, go wash?  Why? A test maybe, would he believe, and obey?  He did and was healed.

Now, it gets interesting.   Seeing is not believing.   Asked for an explanation, they still refused to believe.

An evil power, the Religious said.  After all if it were of God, We, the righteous would have the Power to heal.

It is hard for the self-righteous to admit, they have eyes, that see not, and ears that do not hear.

Lord, that we would, see, hear and act on Your will.  Amen

John: 9: Full Chapter

“And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?

Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.

Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?

He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.

Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.

They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.

And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.

Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.

And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?

His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:

But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.

These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.

Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.

He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?

He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?

Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.

We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.

The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.

Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.

If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.

They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?

He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?

And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.

And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?

Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
