Orthodox or unorthodox that is the question.
Some of us believe what we are taught, that’s it, there is no more.
That is why so many believe in man made climate change, transgender, transracial baloney, and that the founding fathers were terrible men.
All this is taught in our Public Schools. It is our fault that they have gotten so far from the truth.
Why have Christians, laid down and let prayer be taken out of school, along with the pledge of Allegiance.
That is bad enough.
It also happens in our Churches. The teachings, of the founding fathers of our Denominations is what we believe. Period
We hold that above what the Bible tells us.
Saints, it is up to us to:
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
If we don’t study the Word, what is it we believe? We are responsible for what we believe.
Acts 17:11. (KJV)
“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
We need to be more noble, search the Word daily, be open to the revelation of the Lord, and receive it.
Then share it.
Revelation is not ours alone. Will it be accepted? Not by the Religious. Only by those seeking the Lord.
I pray we all will seek the Lord and trust the Holy Spirit to lead us to all truth. Amen

Bill
What wisdom in your words.
I am studying the Bible deeply these days. I have always been a believer but I am trying to get to the hidden depths of the Bible.
I wonder why the country has taken away any reference to Christianity from our public schools- jokes are made about Christians, there is fear in being identified with a Christian. We cannot openly proclaim that we believe in Christ.
And if someone has the guts to say so, they are named by names. People laugh at and ridicule Christians.

I will, Bill- it is high time I did so- I am 47-a half century of my life is gone with no true understanding of the Bible.

I understand, I wasted almost 30 years, then another 20, when the Lord insisted doing things His way, instead of mine… lol

What exactly do you mean when you say:
“Revelation is not ours alone. Will it be accepted? Not by the Religious. Only by those seeking the Lord.”

The Lord gives you Revelation Knowledge. We must share it. The Religious will reject it

The folks that must have their order of Service, they only accept that which their Denomination teaches.
The color of the carpet is more important than the evidence of the Spirit in their Service.
They are legalistic rather than grace…

If they believe what their group teaches, then what is wrong with that? There is only One Truth…if they believe that they have it, then they should hold fast to it.

Unless… it disagrees with the Bible… the Word is our standard. Not our Denominational Doctrine.
