The Sad State of My Country: The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station

I have strong Christian, Conservative veiws.

This blog was birthed out of a desire to share the love, mercy and grace of my Lord.  I find it unfortunate, that this issue needs to be addressed.  I feel compelled.

In September of 1944, a young women asked Winston Churchill if he had any complaints about the United States.  He answered:

Toilet paper too thin, newspapers too fat!

I have no clue what he meant by this, 1944, was 9 years before my birth, but I will quote it, of my country today.

Toilet paper too thin, newspapers too fat!”

~   “newspapers are too fat!

We have too much faux news and sports.  We know all about Mr. West and Kim.

Bruce Jenner, (I know…) and the white women who claims she is black.
The white politician from my home state, who scams the system claiming to be an American Indian.

We have sports and entertainment news out the nether regions.  None of it amounts to or means anything that matters.

At one time we had “NEWS” papers, sadly now, it is all his facts, verses his facts, with no one explaining the truth of the matter.

Today on the NC news:

I heard of a father who broke into his sons home, and shot him, for stealing food from his grandmother.

In in other news:

A son was running cable wires in the crawl space, of his family home.

Where he discovered 3 plastic bags, which held the bones of a baby they believe his sister, birthed and killed.

According to Mom, she had been pregnant at least 10 times.

In other news:

In an experiment at a college, a 5’9″ white male, told all the students he met, that he was a 6’5″ Chinese women.  What did they think?

The usual answer was, “Whoever you think you are, is who you are.”  “We have no right to judge you“.  (In the 60’s it was, if it feels good, do it).

No wonder we have guys, claiming to be women who want to use the womens bathrooms and showers and no one has the sand to say:

We have become a people who think feelings, are more important then truth.  They are not

The truth in love, must be proclaimed, must once again become the predominant message to our youth.  We must teach them, lead them, display Godly wisdom and discretion.

Ephesians 4:15-16
King James Version (KJV)
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:   From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”

We need to lead them to TRUE LOVE, … TO JESUS.  If they don’t come to the truth, then, we will surely find, no matter how much we use, the:

We will never clean up the mess.

Lord, help us to proclaim Your truth in love.

  1. The news media is over-bloated and constantly focused on the negative. I’m a Christian too, though I’m Liberal not conservative. I try to think about Philippians 4:8: Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

  2. There is no new thing under the sun. Even in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah there was a righteous minority, and yet there was Sodom and Gomorrah. We live in the fabled “interesting times”, and it will be interesting indeed to see how God blasts us out of our lethargic comfort zone and into action.
