The words of David to Jonathan,, Sauls son. 

King Saul wanted to kill David but his son Jonathan, loved him.   David was now officially on the run.

We are all just a step away from death.  I  wonder often why am I still alive.  I am vile, unclean, sinful.

Forgiven. 

It is too easy, simple, hard to believe.   I will never be worthy of the sacrifice of Jesus. His love is so great, that an undeserving soul like me is Forgiven.

If you I reading this, you are just one step from death. You also, can be forgiven. Just call on the name of the Lord; Jesus, ask him to forgive  you your sins, and follow Him.

It is a glorious feeling to be forgiven. The weight of the world is lifted from your shoulder. You realize for the first time what true love is. You will begin to praise and worship the Lord Jesus.

You need to find someone who loves the Lord, to guide  and lead you, to read the Word, to pray, to praise and worship.  To draw close to God.

We become close to God by loving  his Word, studying, letting it become part of us.  The degree you love, is the degree of closeness, of knowledge and understanding of His will and ways.

He will be found by all who seek him.
