Deuteronomy 11:10
King James Version (KJV)
“For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out:”
The Land, the Promised Land, is not like the land of Egypt. We are no longer in bondage, in slavery, to a ruler, to work at his pleasure.
Saints, this is a truth we need to understand.
We have a new King. We are no longer building earthly monuments.
We are to build a Spiritual Kingdom.
As Christians, we entered the promised land, just as the Hebrews did. (Hopefully it didn’t take us 40 years to reach it. Although, I was close to 30).
The Promised Land today is the Kingdom of God. It has different rules and regulations than the World we are used to.
Mark 1:15
“And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
If we believe the Gospel, then we live in this new world. The Kingdom of God.
Mark 4:30-32
King James Version (KJV)
“And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.”
It is bigger than anything we can imagine, but we are the vessels the Lord is using to build it.
We must suspend, our carnel beliefs, ideas and ways, and lift up our eyes to where our help resides. Open our hearts and minds to His will and ways.
Mark 10:15
“Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.”
We must attain a child like faith, accept the Word of God as truth, Speak it, Believe it, Watch it come to pass, as we Walk in it.
Luke 9:11
“And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.”
We need to quit worrying about what to eat or drink, put our carnel needs and desires aside, and concern ourselves with His Will and Plan.
Luke 12:31
“But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Luke 10:9
“And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.”
Romans 14:17
“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”
1 Corinthians 4:20
“For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.”
We have entered the place that the Lord will give to “whosoever,” whatsoever is needed to fulfil His will and work.
We cannot do His will and work effectively, if we do not accept all He has given us to work with.
We cannot begin in the Spirit, getting Saved, called to His Work, and expect His results, when we walk and work in our own power.
We must believe, and allow the Holy Spirit to rule and reign in our hearts.

We must allow ourselves to become Holy Spirit dispensers… Allow the Lord to flow through us in Power, to save the lost, heal the sick and comfort the brokenhearted. Amen
Is your heart cold, unfeeling, unbelieving, full of doubt, confusion, hate and lies?
Or are you content, fat, dumb and happy. Just rolling along, taking on life as it comes?
Maybe you hunger and thirst for righteousness, for more power, more grace, mercy, more comfort, more of the Lord, active and working in your life.
I pray it is the latter.
Numbers 25:11
“Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.”
This is the first mention of Zeal in the Word. The people had sinned. The Lord put a plague on the people killing 24,000.
When Phinehas grabbed a spear and ran through the bold offenders, and ended the reign of death. Gods responce?
“I give unto him my covenant of peace:”
Do you desire peace in your life, the comfort and joy of the Holy Ghost? The prosperity of spirit, mind and body?
Light a fire in your life, by reading and obeying the Word of God. Seeking first the Kingdom and His Righteousness.
All these things will be added unto you. A promise from God. As we spend time with the Lord, fire is lit in our hearts.
Luke 24:32
King James Version (KJV)
“And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?”
If sin rules and reigns in our life, death, (spiritual), soon follows.
Matthew 24:12
King James Version (KJV)
“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
Fat, dumb and happy?
Revelation 3:16
King James Version (KJV)
“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”
I pray you are Zealous for the Lord. Amen

“O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.” Proverbs 8:5
How often have we heard, “It’s not that simple.”
Usually from people trying to make a decision, one way is hard, but right. The other is easy, but sleazy.
Or, “It’s complicated.” When it really isn’t.
We put up straw men, (: a weak or imaginary argument or opponent that is set up to be easily defeated), when it is something we know we should do, “but don’t wanna.“
That’s not really the point. He is talking to all of us, who would rather stand on tradition, Church Doctrine, or our own understanding, then the Word of God.
“O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.“
The first mention of Wisdom in the Bible, tells us Godly Wisdom is a Spirit.
Exodus 28:3
“And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.”
Godly Wisdom is given for a specific task. In this case, to make the sanctified, (set apart for God’s service), garments for the High Priest. Only to be used, while ministering to the Lord.
Individuals also received the Spirit of Wisdom for the building of the Lords Tabernacle or Home, in the desert.
We see in the New Testament the Spiritual Gifts include a Word of Wisdom and a Word of Knowledge.
Both are things we could not know or understand in our Natural Man. They are given to us for the building of His Church, His Body for the work of the Gospel.
The Word of Knowledge is best shown in the life of Jesus.
He saw Phillip under the fig tree, (before being introduced), He saw the Desciples, in the midst of a storm in the sea, (before walking on water out to them).
Or with Rahab the harlet, when she told the spies to return another way. She knew if they didn’t, they would be captured.
A Word of Wisdom, tells us how to accomplish a certain task. Like building Gods Church. Or a certain path or way to proceed to avoid difficulty.
“O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.”
Our problems arise when we use the Wisdom of our Natual Man.
We use Man’s wisdom all the time.
Webster says Wisdom is:
“: knowledge that is gained by having many experiences in life
: the natural ability to understand things that most other people cannot understand
: knowledge of what is proper or reasonable : good sense or judgement.“
That is Man’s wisdom, we need it, and we should seek it, but do not expect it to line up with the Wisdom of God, or use it for the Work of the Gospel.
Isaiah 55:8
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.”
James 1:17
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
We need to seek out “Godly Wisdom. ”
A fair amount of our Churches are barely hanging on, attendance, tithes and giving are barely making expenses.
Our Natural Man tries Special Services, Home Coming, a movie and a meal, all to no avail.
To increase attendance, we must have a wonderful, engaging speaker, (that’s probably not you or I). Or the Spirit of God. We need the Spirit of God to grow His Church.
The Spirit of God, cannot be found in our Rituals, Traditions or Church Doctrines. The Bible is clear.
John 4:23
“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
John 4:24
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
What does this mean? We need to learn to sit at His feet. To learn to hear Him. To enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts and His courts with Praise.
Sounds like an old song, doesn’t it? It is and it is the Word of God. (Psalm 100).
Our Sunday Services are so structured there is no room for the Holy Spirit to appear. We invite, then deny Him entrance.
We don’t wait on the Lord, we expect a microwave experience. Set for 30 seconds then enjoy.
Like a woman, the Holy Spirit needs to be romanced. We must learn true Praise. Not just the Doxology, but a lifting of our voices, our hearts, a clearing of our minds of all but expecting an in counter with God.
That in turn needs to morph into Worship. A bowing down of our will to Him. Allowing Him to truly reign in our hearts.
James 1:5
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
If we would allow Him, He would teach us the way to the Holy of Holies. We can and must learn how to enter boldly, to find the grace and mercy we need.
1 Corinthians 2:5
“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

The Church needs the POWER OF GOD. If it wants to be the place where the Lord resides and the multitudes gather to learn His ways.
Open our eyes and hearts to welcome Your Spirit into our Services. Amen

“Remember, and forget not:”
Remember the times we have cherished. The times we have triumphed. The times we have failed and floundered, tossed to and fro by the wicked trials of life.
“Remember, and forget not:”
This is good advice.
That from the day the Lord brought you out of darkness and into His marvelous light, we need to:
“Remember, and forget not:” Remember what?
How often have we provoked, disappointed the Lord? How often have we disregarded His will and ways? How often have we gone our own way?
“We all like sheep, and gone astry, we have all gone are own way.”
Our will, our way, now, today…
Deuteronomy: 9:7
“Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.”
They had manna, the Lords provision. Their clothes and shoes didn’t wear out. All their needs were met daily.
Yet, they, “have been rebellious against the LORD.”
That my friend appears to be the state of both the Natural and the Redeemed man. Sad isn’t it?
The Lord has promised; “He is our Shepard, we shall not want.” Are we satisfied?
No, we always want more. How about you?
I long for more. I long to be Holy, set apart, used of the Lord. I long to make a difference in the lives of the people I meet.
That they would experience Jesus, that they would be healed, body, soul and spirit. That they would recognize the God of Power and Love.
I long to forget, the struggle to pay bills, to make ends meet, to satisfy my needs and wants.
“Remember, and forget not:”
How often has repentance, turning back to God, being forgiven by God, been the theme of my life?
Why Lord, do You remember my sin no more? How is it You died for me? How Lord, do I ever love You enough, serve You in truth. How do I become the man You desire me to be?

“To obey, is better than sacrifice.”
Lord, lead me on the road of righteouness. May I walk with You, everyday of my life. May You find me a “useful vessel,” of Your will.
Lord, forgive and use me please.
Amen
