Ok my friend. Just checking, as that seemed personal to me. I am so blessed to have just a normal, regular job. It’s far from my dream job, bit it is steady and regular. Interesting on the pulpit…we have empty pulpits in our work, and people “called” to preach who are pursuing other things. All the while churches are in need of pastors. And here you are, wanting one, and can’t get one.
Praying for you Bill. His eye is on the sparrow, you know He watches you. You have such a strong faith and you know that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it! Hang in there!
Open the gates O ye people that the King of Glory may come in! Who is the King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle.
I believe these are the times to rest. Be still. Praise and anticipate God has something AMAZING up His sleeve! Shout to the Lord your praises. Give thanks in everything! Throw His enemies into confusion with your joy. Let faith arise! And in nothing terrified by your adversaries which is to them a sign of their destruction and that of God. Your problem is not that you don’t have a job it’s that you think the perfect job will fix everything. Some trust in chariots, some trust in horses, some trust in the perfect alignments of all the planets and stars but we trust in…
Praying for you Bill. Satan has asked permission to sift you. Show Him you trust in your Good good Daddy and what Satan means for evil your Daddy will take all the pressures and use them to press you into the powerful grave robbing image of Jesus. So BRING IT!

Working for myself, finances are always a worry. The desire to preach, and no pulpit is a bigger bugaboo. Frustrating….
