Our teaching ministry:  ooops:  theunfetteredpreacher

Have you stopped to think what we are teaching those around us daily?

Philippians: 4. 9.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”

I shutter, to think what I teach in everyday life. Road rage, no consideration of others, selfishness, pride, @&?:×+&@, stubborn, not teachable…  ect…

Am I showing people the way to find peace?  If they follow my example, will they even know there is a God?

Or will they think, I believe I am God?

What have they learned?

My way or the highway…

What have they received?

No one is as important as me…

What have they heard?

Praises to God?…  … @&?+:&?@…  not hardly…

What have they seen?

Anything but the love of Christ…

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

Are we walking in GOOD WORKS?

I know I miss the boat most days.

Forgive me Jesus, create in me a clean heart, renew in me a right spirit, take not away, Your Holy Spirit, return unto me the joy of salvation.

Lord help me to except the changes You would do in me.  Help me to love, honor and obey You.

Amen.

  1. What a thought…we may be the only Jesus some folks see! May patience abound much and love flow freely! I’m on a contagious kick…I want the passion of Christ within me to consume those around me…I recall that old hymn, “set my soul afire”. May Christ within us burn so bright it catches those around us on fire! I’ll pray for you right along with prayers of contagion for myself!!

  2. Do you think you are living Ground Hog day? Like your record player is stuck in the same groove and you just want to get on with it? I can hardly imagine what frustration Moses had trudging through the wilderness with the dull of hearing and stoney of heart, the complainers and precious few that “got it”.

But these days I’m learning to take a different view of things. I’m learning to believe God really is excited in all the processes He prepares in my life to transform me into who He already says I am. Like my personal trainer who knows which tool, weight, piece of equipment will strengthen my weak muscles my Daddy/Warrior Coach is placing obstacles, circumstances, people into my path to enlarge my heart of compassion, strengthen my endurance, raise my faith quotient, sharpen my spiritual discernment, explode His joy within me so I can run and not be weary, walk and not faint and believe in God for the impossible.

Don’t give up brother! Look at your dear ancient babies as a sweet charge from the Chief Shepherd. Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth but whatever gives grace to your hearers. Love your lambs. Speak well of them. Protect and shield and enjoy each one as a unique treasure for God loves the “little children”. And you, dear brother were, indeed, promoted when God entrusted each soul into your care.

  3. Amen. Thankful the Lord through His Holy Spirit gave this to you to share this morning!

“Forgive me Jesus, create in me a clean heart, renew in me a right spirit, take not away, Your Holy Spirit, return unto me the joy of salvation.” Amen and Amen.

Have you ever heard that song by Keith Green called “Create In Me A Clean Heart”? Very moving ❤
