“Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?”

Will the Lord be pleased?

With our works, will, or attitudes?  Will we hear “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” ???

Are you seeking the Lord?  Do you desire a closer relationship, fellowship, knowledge of the Lord?  Do you know how to attain your goal?  There is a way to please God.

” The Lord’s voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it”

* see thy Name:  acknowledge the Lord, who he is….Almighty God.
* hear ye the rod:  acknowledge the rod of correction, direction, and that it   is Almighty God, who directs it.

The Lord has given us a list of simple instructions:
Micah 6:8
” He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

* What is good?
Romans 12:1-2
” I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

If we would just learn to follow these two scriptures, I  believe the Lord would be pleased.   Knowing the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  (Through reading His Word and acting on it).

If we would learn to judge right judgment,  to love mercy, to walk humbly with God.   (To walk with Jesus, we must learn to take up His Yoke).

All the Lord requires of us, is that we walk with him, share his love,  touch the lives he brings us in contact with.

Lord, help us to be obedient to you.
