Ecstasy : The Fix-it Shop-Filling Station

(Gr. ekstasis, from which the word “ecstasy” is derived) denotes the state of one who is “out of himself.” Such were the trances of Peter and Paul, Acts 10:10; 11:5; 22:17, ecstasies, “a preternatural, absorbed state of mind preparing for the reception of the vision”   In Mark 5:42 and Luke 5:26 the Greek word is rendered “astonishment,” “amazement” (comp. Mark 16:8; Acts 3:10).

Ecstasy,  astonishment  both scary words for the Church….
both evoke something not completely under the control of Pastors or elders.

We don’t tell people it’s bad to experience these things but our “Worship Services” , for the most part have no room for the Spirit  to bring us there.

I know, I am a Charismatic or Pentecostal so some will disregard my thoughts but I want to tell you…..

IT IS TRUE PRAISE AND WORSHIP THAT WILL RELEASE A SPIRIT OF ECSTASY AND OR AMAZEMENT IN YOUR CHURCH SERVICE.

It is wonderful to teach and preach the Word of God.   How much better to have the Spirit of God healing, touching, meeting the needs of your congratulations?

People would be astonished,  multitudes would flock to and fill your churches, halls, stadiums. If the Power of God were present to heal, comfort, cause joy to break out, peace to flow out to your city and towns.

Our churches are like this barn, have a form, a structure, but there is no Spirit there.

Please listen to the Holy Spirit,  start to sing :

“Holy, Holy,  Holy Lord, God of Power and Might.
Heaven and earth are full of Your Glory.  (2×) Hosanna, Hosanna, in the highest.”  (2×)

Sing until you believe,  until His presence brings tears to your eyes…experience the presence of the most High God.

Then lead the people,  depending on you, to show them the way into the Holy of Hollies.

Thanks for visiting, come back soon.
