he brought forth his people with joy”

This is a partial verse from Psalm105:43a, it is referring to the Exodus.  The slaves were set free, they left Egypt with the spoils of their Masters.  They had the Lords protective presence before and behind them.

They had crossed the Red Sea and they saw the Egyptian Army drown, on what a few minutes before,

had been dry ground.

” And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:”

They weren’t just His people, but His chosen,  so we find joy and gladness.  If we could bottle the joy and gladness we receive when we repent and are forgiven, the world would be knocking on our doors, instead of the Lord knocking on the doors of their hearts.

The Lord gives His people, His chosen directions for life:
* O give thanks unto the Lord;
                  Be thankful you are of the chosen, that you opened your heart and let Him in.
   *   call upon his name:
                   Call upon His name, by His name are you saved, sanctified, Holy Spirit filled,  all that we  are or will be, we have or will receive is by His name.
*   make known his deeds among the people.
                   We need to rehearse the wonderful deeds of the Lord to His people.
   *   Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him:
                    We really need to learn how to Praise, singing Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual songs.
   *   talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name:
                     Talk, of all His wonders,  Glory in His name, the Name above all Names.
   *   let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.   Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
                      learn to rejoice as we seek Him, expect to find strength to accomplish His will, continuously seek Him, even as you await His answer.

   *   Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
             We must remind ourselves of His signs, wonders and miracles.  His justice, His love.

Psalm 105:1-5
King James Version (KJV)
O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.  Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.0
   Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

The Word of the Lord is a wonderful thing to study, live by and walk in.  It is truth, as we act on its instructions, we will always be blessed.
